The Power Burner 100 seamlessly integrates a clean-burning 100- kWe microturbine with an Ultra Low NOx Burner (ULNB), packaged into one compact assembly. The process captures the waste heat from the microturbine, using all of it, while managing variability in boiler thermal load and reducing greenhouse gases.

Other ULNBs use either high excess air or high Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR) to meet ultra-low NOx. Both of these approaches waste heat and electrical energy to meet NOx, costing customers’ money and adding higher amounts of greenhouse gases. The Power Burner’s integrated MGT and ULNB operates at very low O2 levels and uses minimal FGR, essentially recouping the wasted energy lost with other ULNBs to generate 100 kWe with the same amount of fuel.
